McNair's attorneys fail to reach DUI settlement

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The attorney for Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair told a judge Thursday that no settlement had been reached in the player's drunken driving case. McNair, who was arrested in October on charges of driving under the influence and possession of a firearm while intoxicated, did not appear in Davidson County Criminal Court Judge Cheryl Blackburn's courtroom. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
